Marian Alejandra Rodriguez

Marian Rodriguez joined Climate Bonds in 2021 as Sustainability Analyst as part of the Standards team. She works on developing scientific criteria to ensure that industrial projects and assets contribute to climate change mitigation, using scientific research and involving key stakeholders and experts.

Marian has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Colombia and a Master’s in Environment and Resource Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Marian has extensive work experience in the industry, process engineering, technical and commercial advice, industry research, and business development. Before joining CBI, she worked for The Netherlands Organisation of Applied research (TNO), assessing industrial processes and proposing decarbonisation alternatives. She was part of the MIDDEN project (Manufactury Industry Decarbonisation Data Exchange Network) led by TNO and PBL (The Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency). She is passionate about sustainability and loves to make a positive impact on the environment and society.
