Professional Bio 

Sheila works as a Transition Program Manager at CBI, overseeing the implementation of initiatives aimed at developing and scaling the sustainable finance market in the LAC region. With over 18 years of experience in international relations, government relations, and business development, she has managed projects in multiple sectors and industries for both Brazilian and foreign governments.

Before joining CBI, Sheila served as a Foreign Direct Investment Manager for the Canadian and Swiss governments, promoting the internationalization of companies. More recently, she worked as an Economic Coordinator for the Finnish government, focusing on international trade promotion, and monitoring Brazil’s political, economic, and trade developments. She also worked as an attaché for the UK government, overseeing policy advocacy work and facilitating UK-Brazil policy, commercial, and academic partnerships, managing a portfolio of cooperation projects aimed at developing public policies for Brazil’s innovation environment.

Sheila holds a BSc in International Relations, an MSc in Strategic Intelligence, and an ESG MBA. She obtained the Certificate in Climate and Investing, issued by CFA UK in 2023.
