The Climate Bonds Standard and Certification Scheme is a labelling scheme for Entities, Assets and Debt Instruments. Rigorous scientific criteria ensure that Certified investments in climate mitigation are consistent with the 1.5oC warming limit in the Paris Agreement. The Scheme is used globally by bond issuers, governments, investors and the financial markets to prioritise investments which genuinely contribute to addressing climate change.

European City Trajectories

This EU Trajectory Tool provides all the information necessary for an applicant to evaluate the local (city-level and regional-level) decarbonisation trajectory for a commercial building asset.

The interactive map provides a complete list of all locations for which a trajectory has currently been developed (this dataset will continually be updated).

By clicking on a reference location, the requirement for a building’s emissions intensity calculated for 2019 is provided.  The resultant provides the decarbonisation benchmark, from which the pathway to reach net zero by 2050, can be achieved.
